HAMILTON-C2

The new generationThe HAMILTON-C2 is designed to give respiratory support to neonates, infants, paediatrics and adults. Due to its compact design, built-in batteries and an ultra-quiet turbine, this ICU ventilator can accompany your patient everywhere within the hospital, independently of central gas and power supplies and support respiration. Equipped with the Ventilation Cockpit, the HAMILTON-C2 provides exactly the information you need and helps you focus on what is important.

You can customize the Cockpit to show conventional waveforms, the ASV graphic, the Dynamic Lung or the Vent Status panel or optionally a volumetric capnogramm allowing assessing the efficiency of the ventilation therapy on a breath to breath basis. These Intelligent Panel graphics visualize the patient’s ventilator status and dependency in an easy-to-understand form. In order to provide the best care for the smallest patient nCPAP-PS is optionally available allowing respiratorysupport over nasal prongs or masks.

HAMILTON-N2

Great things come in small packages, The HAMILTON-N2 ventilator provides invasive and noninvasive support for neonates and infants. The Dynamic Lung allows the clinician to visualize the lung mechanics of the babies and to consequently adjust ventilation therapy. Ventilation Status window identifies the ventilator dependency of the baby and helps the weaning process.Non-invasive ventilation modes and nasal CPAP combined with invasive ventilation modes and volume guarantee assist you in giving your patient the most appropriate and protective care. The friendly and compact design of the HAMILTON-N2, with smart battery management and an ultra-quiet built-in pressure generation enable you to accompany your patient throughout the hospital without the need for central gas and power supply.

ARABELLA

The ARABELLA system provides safe, effective delivery of NCPAP to infants, including those with very low birth weight (VLBW).The advantages of the system include no moving parts, small size, minimum deadspace, quiet operation, and decreased impedance to respiration.

The Monitoring Gas Mixer is used with a patented Universal Generator set with interchangeable soft silicone prongs, a heater wire delivery circuit, and an ARABELLA cap. HAMILTON MEDICAL has designed each component of  the ARABELLA system to operate as a unit. The ARABELLA Monitoring Gas Mixer provides precise control of flow, pressure, and FiO2 for safety and effectiveness. The integral monitoring system and special alarms are built in to ensure the highest level of patient safety. Product Documentation.

VENTILAIR II

With its superior pressure and flow characteristics, the VENTILAIR II compressor ensures a constant, clean, dry compressed air supply for medical ventilators. It can be used either as a primary air source or as an automatic backup to a hospital’s central air pipeline system.

The VENTILAIR II compressor may be integrated with the GALILEO, RAPHAEL, AMADEUS FT, or VEOLAR FT ventilator. With a cart, the VENTILAIR II compressor becomes a mobile, standalone device for other medical applications. Product Documentation.

HAMILTON-HC

HAMILTON-HC emulates the human physiological mechanism -extensive, humid surface at body core temperature of the upper airways- when humidifying respiratory gases.Following this principle HAMILTON-HC avoids excessive water temperatures and significantly enlarges the gas/water contact area.

This enlargement is realized by an active water circulation continuously feeding heated humidification water to a specially designed exchange surface. Respiratory gas to be humidified is guided in opposite direction to the water.

By this the gas becomes saturated with humidity and heated up to optimal conditions. Operational principle is evaporation and molecular transfer of humidity by means of a counterstream. This results in an almost perfect humidification mainly independent of actual gas flow rates, gas inlet- or ambient temperatures.

HAMILTON-S1

HAMILTON-S1 with INTELLiVENT®-ASV, the world’s first fully automatic application for intensive care ventilation.

INTELLiVENT®-ASV is the world’s first fully closed loop ventilation technology for oxygenation and ventilation covering all applications from intubation until extubation with the known simplicity from HAMILTON MEDICAL. Based on the systematic evolution of ASV over the last decade and on scientific evidence, it’s in sync with the daily clinical practice. The automatic adjustments follow protocolized care measuring lung physiology, respiratory monitoring, capnography (etCO2) and pulse oximetry (SpO2).INTELLiVENT®-ASV reduces complexity by giving guidance on complex decision making, by visualizing complex information in an intuitive way.

The HAMILTON-S1 is a universal Ventilator capable of invasive and non-invasive therapy for the entire patient range of neonates to adults. In addition to automating mechanical ventilation it provides a number of exciting new features like:

  • An integrated synchronized Aeroneb® nebulizer – to help conserve expensive medications
  • Hamilton’s new comprehensive PV Tool Pro.
  • New CombiTrends and Reference Loops provide you comprehensive information on changes in lung condition.
  • NIV capabilities on for adults and neonates provide nasal CPAP, including a robust leakage compensation patient trigger through Hamilton IntelliTrig.

HAMILTON-G1

Designed for more safety and simplicityAren’t there already more monitoring parameters, more ventilation modes and more settings available than most users ever need? The new HAMILTON-G5 ICU ventilator was designed to be simpler for the user and safer for the patient.

Rather than bringing you even more curves and loops, its Ventilation Cockpit™ integrates complex data into intuitive graphics that answer two essential questions:

  1. What is my patient’s lung condition, and what kind of ventilation do they need?
  2. When should I take my patient off the ventilator?

See for yourself and try the simulation online.

Safe and simple ventilation with ASV closed-loop control

The HAMILTON• G5 features ASV closed-loop control, providing easy-to-use and extremely safe ventilation that

  • Ventilates virtually all intubated patients – whether active or passive and regardless of their lung disease – based on a ventilation strategy tailored to their individual condition (Arnal JM et al. Int Care Med 2004;30:84)
  • Is more responsive than conventional modes in adapting to the patient’s breathing activity (Petter AH et al. Anesth Analg 2003;97:1743-50)
  • Requires fewer user interactions and gives fewer alarms (Petter AH et al. Anesth Analg 2003;97:1743-50)
  • Facilitates shorter ventilation times (Sulzer CF et al. Anesthesiology 2001;95:1339-45, Cassina T et al. J Cartiothorac Vasc Anesth 2003;17:571-75)
  • Provides ventilation at least as safely and effectively as international ventilation experts using conventional modes (Iotti GA et al. Int Care Med 2005;31:192)
  • Please note: For HAMILTON-G5 Software Version 2.0. not all features are available in the U.S. FDA clearance is pending.
